About Us
Tara Circle is a 501(c) (3) not-for-profit organization.
The name “The Tara” was chosen for its symbolism. Tara dates to ancient Ireland, where it was the seat of the reigning kings. Described by historians as a beautiful and pleasant hill, Tara also held a great banquet hall and a meeting house for poets, historians, and musicians.
The image of the circle reflects our effort to bring all Irish organizations in the reign together for the Irish community.
History
Since 1992, The Tara Circle has experienced many changes, contributing to the communities rich history and heritage, shaping Tara into the unique organization it is today.
