Photo Shoots Bring the Brightest Stars to Tara Circle

Tara has found a unique source of fundraising by using its historic mansion as a location for movies, television shows and photo shoots for fashion & furniture advertising. The resulting revenue will be used to restore the building and surrounding grounds to its former grandeur.

You may recognize actress Julia Roberts in our historic building in many scenes from "Mona Lisa Smile", or actor Russell Crowe in "A Beautiful Mind". The multi-star cast of "The Royal Tannenbaums" recruited a face familiar to many of us when they filmed at Alder Manor, Tara's own Phil Denning.
Joanie Madden, a long-time Tara supporter, and Cherish the Ladies posed for their newest album cover in several locations throughout the property. Another member of Cherish, Mary Coogan, has been teaching guitar in the Irish Studies program for many years.
